Well, we''re back from sunny Florida...Kaylie had the time of her life and is sad to be putting on her winter coat, hat, and mittens again. I could not believe what a happy, easy-going little girl she was last week. From the moment we stepped off the plane she had the biggest smile on her face because of the Florida weather. She would literally try to climb into her stroller so we would take her outside. I could barely feed her in her high chair because she would be pointing at the door and jabbering a mile a minute. Every morning she would point at the window or try pull open the curtains just to look outside. So I guess you get my point...SHE LOVED IT THERE! She absolutely loved swimming and going down the little waterslide. All it took was for her daddy to take her down one time and she kept pointing to it or making it known that she wanted to do it again! But, she''d get pretty tired after all that action and need to go back to the condo to take her 2 hour afternoon nap. Then she''d be up with all sorts of energy until around 9 or 9:30...which is usually well past her bedtime! She didn''t want to miss out on ANYTHING! Anyway, she also developed her own "bird-call" (which she also did when she saw a squirrel...and now uses it when she sees her stuffed puppy at home.) It was pretty cute, though. She fine-tuned her dancing skills while listening to Grandpa sing Karaoke on Monday night. I think she was more entertaining to people than the singers! Many new foods were tried including hotdogs, ravioli, freezies, vanilla wafers, cheese sandwiches, and whole milk. She now REALLY does not care for baby cereal or the other foods! We definitely needed her to eat some prunes though with that diet!
The plane rides went very well, too. The flight down got a little long and we had to walk the isle for awhile, but all in all, it went very well. She met many new friends and looks forward to going back again. Hopefully warm weather is coming soon so we can have all that fun again! Kaylie''s first birthday is just a week and a half away!!! Bye. Bye.
