Kaylie came down with another cold. Actually she has bronchitis just like her mom. I''m not sure who gave it to who, but we''re both miserable! She''s also cutting new teeth so that just makes it all worse! Fever, snot, gagging, coughing, vomiting...oh how fun it all is! Sorry if that is too much info for some of you! We''ve got her on Ibuprofen, Tylenol, Zyrtec, sometimes Dimetapp, and now some Prednisolone for the mild wheezing and she seems to be doing pretty well! But NO antibiotic! This child is going to have an excellent immune system. Ha ha. Anyway, she doesn''t seem too sick during the day. She''s as busy as ever, crawling around at mach 5 and constantly wanting to stand up and walk. She''s getting very close, but still has some balance issues! She has developed a very strange attraction to loud annoying "music". At least she acts like she is hearing music because she bobs her head and dances like she does to other songs. This loud annoying sound is the vibrations of one of those hand held three-footed massagers on our glass coffee table. She loves it. She presses the button to turn it on, looks at us while "jamming" to the sound, and then goes about playing with this horrible noise still happening. We can only take maybe 30 seconds of this before turing it off, but she goes right back to it to turn it on again. We should hide that thing, but it is pretty funny to watch her reaction. It makes me worry about the kind of music she''ll be into someday...it''s DEFINITELY not like her parent''s taste (80s)! Anyway, she''s a great eater....basically wants to try anything we eat and I let her if it''s within reason. She still loves ice cubes and can be satisfied for a long time if we keep giving them to her. She loves puppies and birdies and can''t go to sleep without her pink "bear" blanket. She all of a sudden laughs for no apparent reason other than she thinks she''s funny. She is a busy, busy child and I''m sure when she begins walking it''s going to get even MORE difficult to chase her around her bedroom, trying to get her dressed in the morning!
Thanks for all the birthday greetings. Her big birthday party will be this weekend with Grandma and Grandpa Clauson, Grandma and Grandpa Kildahl, Uncle Chris and Aunt Susan, and maybe even Auntie Jean! See ya.
